Hey again! Episode 5.2 was just released in kLT on 10/21, giving us all-new screenshots of the Monster Colosseum and quite a bit of info about the new weapons and equipment. If you have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about, why not browse through the ”Episode 5.2” category under the ”Future Content” heading on the top menu ↑. Some new facts about the rules of the Colosseum were also released, so if you were a little confused on how to get there/play, you won’t be anymore. » The Colosseum is a Party-Only Instance Dungeon. Because of the difficulty, it’s recommended that the party consists of 4 people.

» You may not use any potions within the Colosseum. The only potions available for use are the specific ”Colosseum Potions”.

» The death penalty and Ely penalty still apply within the Colosseum. HOWEVER, Iron Wills and Ressurection Potions may be used.

» ”Colosseum Warp Capsules” may be purchased from NPC Ases in Belos.

。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚ Colosseum “Modes”:.”:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚

» There are 4 different “modes” to challenge your party with in the Colosseum; “Challenge Mode” consists of “Easy – Normal – Hard” modes while “Raid Mode” consists of “Hardcore Mode”.

» Easy Mode: fight random monsters Lv1~79. Characters Lv10~120 may enter.

» Normal Mode: fight random monsters Lv80~139. Characters Lv80~170 may enter.

» Hard Mode: fight random monsters Lv140+. Characters Lv140+ may enter.

Raid Mode: Hardcore mode. You’ll fight one boss monster at atime; there are no breaks, as the next boss will appear upon killing the previous one.

In my previous post, the new Colosseum Weapons were revealed. The “Lower” weapons are Lv20 at +0, and the “Higher” weapons are Lv140 at +0. You may upgrade these weapons every 20 levels. In addition to these new weapons, there are also new Colosseum Sets. In order to get these new items, you must, apparently, exchange various colosseum-specific materials that drop directly from the Colosseum monsters (or are rewarded for completion of Colosseum quests(?)), and trade them to NPC Ases.

More information, including stats and pictures of Colosseum sets, will be added later, kuma is lazy.

Awww, so people over level 120 can’t do easy mode? especially if they have quests for each stage.

Dang this sounds really fun, killing and more killing and mass more killing and would really put the idea of teamwork together. And where bards can really shine in here with their team healing. But I’m curious, i recall a event A LONG time ago right after Steel City came out and they were taking people to go fight. Was that at the Colosseum?
